ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in new clients’ scoping of work and onboarding processes
  • Check and process all documents in ERP
  • Perform the bank reconciliation
  • Prepare payroll
  • Do all statutory returns
  • Ensure all payments are received on time
  • Prepare management accounts
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Generate timely reports for management, with relevant interpretation of data
  • Regularly organize meetings with clients to discuss on risks and issues, proposing mitigation actions
  • Supervise and train junior staff

  • Minimum ACCA Level 1
  • Experience of 1 to 3 years in the related field

4. CORPORATE ACCOUNTANT – Ref: CA042020

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure the completeness, accuracy and validity of all accounting records
  • Handle payroll end-to end for the holding company and its subsidiaries
  • Maintain Fixed Assets Registers of all companies
  • Handle the AR and AP processes of all companies
  • Manage the Petty Cash fund
  • Prepare and reconcile intercompany invoices and balances
  • Ensure all statutory returns are prepared and submitted to the authorities on a timely basis
  • Prepare management accounts, budgets, cash flows or any reports required by management
  • Prepare Consolidated Group accounts
  • Generate monthly management pack reports with variance analysis and explanations
  • Prepare annual financial statements both for subsidiaries and Consolidated Group Accounts and ensure they comply with the Companies Acts and IFRS on a timely basis

5. RECEPTIONIST CUM ADMIN OFFICER CLERK – Ref: RAO052020

JOB BRIEF

Being the first point of contact for Colbert Group, the successful candidate will have to manage our front desk on a daily basis and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to the highest quality standards, bearing in mind that this is a customer service role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Arrange travel and accommodations, and prepare vouchers

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load/unload and transport documents and materials to areas as per supervisor’s planning.
  • Ensure all collections and deliveries are complete and correctly acknowledged.
  • Ensure timely conveyance of staff to and from places as instructed by your supervisor.
  • Follow the most efficient routes for delivering documents/materials.
  • Perform some other undertakings like running errands for the company and for directors.
  • Ensure the company vehicles are constantly kept perfect and clean and send for wash as needed.
  • Carry out routine checks on company vehicles and ensure servicing is done timely.
  • Keep all records, including receipts for company vehicle maintenance
  • Keep up a travel log to record areas travelled to, travel time, and work hours.
  • Report any case of accident, injury or damage of company vehicles immediately to the supervisor.

7. HIGH-CALIBRE TRAVEL AND TOURISM SALES AND MARKETING EXECUTIVES – Ref: SME072020

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell Colbert Holidays’ services (accommodation, concierge, travel and packaged tours, trips, events - honeymoon, wedding, conferences & conventions, sports activities, etc.)
  • Determine and understand the needs of clients and propose the best possible tailor-made options
  • Handle daily requests from potential clients with a sense of urgency
  • Achieve and exceed sales target
  • Co-operate with other internal departments and stakeholders, follow up and ensure completion of services sold up to clients’ satisfaction
  • Attend Sales team meetings
  • Build and keep a good relationship with regular clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and contact those who could become future clients
  • Handle administration work such as recording sales, compiling sales reports, drawing up contracts, filing and sending invoices and replying to queries by e-mail or telephone

  • Fluent in English and French both written and spoken. Any further languages are a plus
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Innovative and forward thinking with proven marketing experience and capabilities
